Kuwait’s Ministry of Health recorded 940 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, the highest number since May 30, 2020. The ministry also announced two deaths.
This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 169,190 and virus-related fatalities to 964.
There are currently 7,672 active cases in the country out of which 68 are receiving treatment in intensive care units.
The ministry announced that a total of 456 more patients have recovered from COVID-19, pushing the total number of recoveries to 160,554.
