Bahrain reports 55 new coronavirus cases, 47 recoveries

Out of 15,042 COVID-19 tests carried out on 16 October 2021, 55 new cases have been detected among 13 expatriate workers, 36 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 6 travel related. There were 47 recoveries from COVID-19, increasing total recoveries to 274,013.

There are currently 3 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 7 cases receiving treatment. 623 are stable out of a total of 626 active cases.
