Saudi Arabia To Host Global Aviation Summit 2019

The 2019 Global Aviation Summit is sponsored by Boeing  Saudi Arabia being held under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) on April 1 and April 2.

Boeing’s sponsorship is an affirmation of the company’s long-term partnership with the Kingdom underscoring its commitment to Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 that supports a range of programs and development of the local industry.

The aviation industry in Saudi Arabia has recorded remarkable growth and the Summit plays an important role in bridging the gap between the government and private sector, informed senior official of Boeing Saudi Arabia.

Boeing exhibited its interest to support this initiative to encourage active involvement in policymaking, regulations and development plans for the global civil aviation industry.

The relationship between Boeing and KSA lead to commercial air travel in the Kingdom. Boeing has developed and expanded relationships with the Saudi civilian and defense sectors as well as with the private sector. Saudia continues to fly Boeing products from the 777-300ER, the 787 Dreamliner, to the 747 jumbo jet for cargo transport.
