Saudi: Covid-19 cases drop below 1000 mark

Coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia dropped below the 1,000 mark on Friday, with 927 new infections recorded over the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health, 12 more people died over the past 24 hours due to complications caused by the virus which brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 431,432.

The ministry also reported 1,608 recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people free from the deadly virus to 415,747.
