Saudi Arabia foils smuggling attempt of amphetamine pills

Authorities in Saudi Arabia thwarted an attempt to smuggle 75,794 amphetamine tablets into the Kingdom.

The operation was held in coordination with the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority in the capital, Riyadh.

The drugs were found during a raid targeting “criminal networks.” Two Syrians and one Egyptian were arrested and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
