Saudi: First Vehicle Self Sterilization Unit Launched in Eastern Province
The Eastern Province Municipality has launched its first vehicles self-sterilization unit on one of the major streets, amid the precautionary measures to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Thursday.
The Municipality stressed that the unit uses the latest technologies and equipment, where the vehicle can be auto-sterilized while passing through the unit.
In addition, the unit transmits awareness messages to motorists. The unit’s specifications are height of 5 meters and a width of 7 meters. It contains a tank measuring 16 square meters, with a capacity of 600 liters that pumps 2 liters per second.
