Bahrain will play Tunisia today, Friday, in the opening match of the Federation Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) 2023 Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.
The opening Pool A match of the 16-nation tournament will kick off at 08:00 pm at the Bahrain Volleyball Association (BVA) Hall.
Bahrain were drawn in Pool A of the 2023 world championship, along with Tunisia, Thailand and Iran. The national team will take on Thailand on Saturday, before playing Iran in their last preliminary round match on Sunday.
Led by national coach Sabeur Abdulwahed said that Bahrain hopes to seal the victory on their opening match, which would boost their chances in the preliminary match.
