Saudi: “Immune” status soon to be a prerequisite for transport

Saudi Arabia has reiterated that starting Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, vaccination with a booster dose and the “Immune” vaccinated status in the Tawakkalna application will be a prerequisite for the use of land, sea, and rail transportation in Saudi Arabia, with the exception of groups exempt from taking the vaccine and as indicated in the Tawakkalna application.

The decision includes trains, taxis, car rental, passenger transport applications, buses for transporting passengers inside and outside cities, as well as ferries between Jazan and Farasan Island.

This is in addition to the already existing restrictions on non-vaccinated people entering public places and offices.
