Saudi Arabia’s King Salman urged Gulf Arab states to work together to confront Iran’s “criminal” actions in the region during the emergency summit in the holy city of Makkah.

The Iranian regime’s interference in the internal affairs of the kingdom, development of nuclear and missile programs, and its threats to freedom of international shipping pose threat to global oil supply.

The recent attacks require all of the Gulf nations to work together to preserve the security of GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) countries,” the Saudi king added, referring to recent attacks on Gulf oil installations.
