Saudi Princess Hessa, the daughter of King Salman bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia, attended the launch of the fashion design exhibition in Riyadh.

The exhibition is organised in collaboration with Art of Heritage, an organisation committed to the preservation and conservation of Saudi cultural heritage, and renowned designer Dr. Serra Kirdar.

Held at Art of Heritage’s headquarters in Sulaymaniyah, the exhibition showcased a collection that seamlessly blends Saudi heritage with modern aesthetics, reflecting the Saudi identity in an innovative, contemporary style that appeals to both local and international tastes.

The exhibition features pieces inspired by traditional Saudi decorations and embroidery, paired with contemporary designs. The collection is tailored to the preferences of Saudi women, particularly the younger generation, while also catering to international fashion enthusiasts, making the designs versatile for occasions both within and outside the Kingdom.

Dr. Serra Kirdar, CEO and Founder of Serrakirdar.com, a multi-brand digital fashion and lifestyle platform, expressed pride in collaborating with Art of Heritage. “This collection is a significant step in showcasing Saudi heritage to the world,” said Kirdar, a specialist in education and women’s empowerment with a focus on the Middle East.

Prominent figures in the fields of fashion and culture from across the Arab world attended the event, exploring the intricate designs that masterfully balanced authenticity with modernity.

Princess Noura Al Faisal, CEO of the Art of Heritage Group, highlighted the organisation’s dedication to celebrating Saudi identity through a harmonious fusion of tradition and modern elegance. She noted that the inaugural collection draws inspiration from five distinct Saudi regions, such as Asiri cat art and Najdi door motifs, alongside traditional Shallaki and Hanadi designs. “The diversity of our heritage provides endless possibilities for creativity,” said Princess Noura.
