Saudi records 226 new coronavirus cases, 156 recoveries

New coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia has crossed the 200-mark for the first time in more than a month, when 226 people tested positive on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health, the virus claimed six more lives in the last 24 hours.

This brings the total number of confirmed infections in the Kingdom to 365,325 and virus-related fatalities to 6,335.

The ministry also reported 156 new recoveries over the past 24 hours, raising the total number of people recovered from the deadly virus to 357,004.

The active cases also dropped to 1,986, out of which 327 are critical under intensive care.
