Saudi Arabia announced 37 more deaths from COVID-19 and 2,378 new confirmed cases of the disease on Friday.
Of the new cases, 195 were recorded in the holy city of Makkah, 139 in Riyadh, 135 in Hufof and 114 in Taif.
The total number of recoveries in the Kingdom increased to 215,731 after 2,241 more patients recovered from the virus.
A total of 2,672 people have succumbed to the virus in the Kingdom so far.
