Bahrain governorates, BTEA launch Festive Lights celebrations

Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has announced the launch of “Festive Lights” celebrations as part of events and activities of the Season of Festivities with a program full of festivals and surprises in various locations and venues across Bahrain throughout the month of December in collaboration with the Capital, Muharraq, Northern and Southern Governorates.

Festive Lights will be organized on December 8–31, covering multiple locations and venues all around the Kingdom, including Shaikh Khalifa AlKabeer Highway, Airport Avenue, Al Ghous highway, Hidd intersection, Rayya highway in Muharraq Governorate; December 16 Avenue, Riffa clock tower roundabout, Isa Town, Zallaq Ave, Crown Prince Avenue, and Riffa road in the Southern Governorate; Adliya Block 338, Prince Khalifa Bin Salman Highway, and King Faisal Highway in the Capital Governorate; King Fahad Causeway, Saar Ave 13, CP roundabout, Hamad Town southern entrance in the Northern Governorate.

Many venues will be decorated in white, red, and other colours as lights frame various locations representing the Season of Festivities’ identity, celebrating Bahrain’s national day festivities, and collaborating with the four governorates in the Capital, Muharraq, Southern, and Northern, as well as other government bodies and private sector enterprises
