Saudi: Riyadh Season attracts a million visitors in 10 days

Turki Al-Sheikh, chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority, has revealed that the number of visitors to various events and activities of the Riyadh Season 2021 reached nearly 1 million in 10 days.

The events have fetched about SR550 million in direct income so far.

Al-Sheikh opened Riyadh Season 2, the Middle East’s largest-ever entertainment event, on Oct. 20. The opening ceremony featured an impressive parade, dazzling shows of drones and spectacular fireworks that lit up the skies of the capital city.

The Riyadh Season is witnessing 7,500 astounding events and fun-filled activities across 14 entertainment zones spreading over a total area of 5.4 million square meters. The festival will run until March 2022.
