Saudi security busts Iran-linked terror cell

The Saudi security authorities busted a terrorist cell whose members got military and field training inside sites belonging to Iran’s Revolutionary Guard.

In a statement carried today by Saudi Press Agency (SPA), The State Security Presidency pointed out that the cell was detected last week during security monitoring.

A State Security Presidency spokesman revealed that ten members of the cell were arrested, three of whom received training in Iran. “The cell was formed between October and December 2017”, said the spokesman.

According to the spokesperson,  the cell members received military  training in two locations, including field exercises and bomb-making.

The security authorities seized during the operation a big quantity of weapons, explosives, chemicals, and electronic devices and other equipment, which were found in  a house and a farm.
