More than 136.36 million people have been reported to be infected by Covid-19 globally and 3,080,701 have died, according to a Reuters tally.
No information was provided on the ages of those who died or if they suffered certain underlying medical conditions.
Infections have been reported in more than 210 countries and territories since the first cases were identified in China in December 2019.
