Saudi Weather: Thunderstorms Expected In Some Places

The General Authority of Meteorology and Environment Protection of Saudi Arabia forecasts thunderstorms accompanied by active winds in heights of Najran Jazan, Assir, Baha, Taif, Riyadh region and some parts of Eastern region.

The Authority’s report stated that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea is west-northerly to northerly on central and northern parts and west-southerly to west-northerly on the southern part, at speed of 16-40 km/h, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf, is east-southerly to east-northerly at speed of 14-38 km/h.
