The Meteorological Directorate at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications reported that stable weather conditions are expected to prevail across the Kingdom of Bahrain over the next ten days, with moderate temperatures during the day and relatively cold conditions at night.
The Directorate said that winds will temporarily shift to south-easterly on Tuesday, January 13, ranging from light to moderate, with occasional increased activity at night. North-westerly winds are expected to resume from Wednesday, January 14, and continue into the following week.
Wind speeds are forecast to be generally moderate to active, with the possibility of becoming strong at times from Wednesday until Friday, January 16. This may lead to blowing dust in some areas, as well as rough seas and higher wave activity.
With the continued north-westerly winds, temperatures are expected to gradually decline, particularly at night and in the early morning. Minimum temperatures are forecast to range between 11 C and 13 C, with lower felt temperatures due to wind effects.
The Meteorological Directorate advised the public, particularly sea-goers, to exercise caution and to follow official weather bulletins and warnings issued through approved channels.
