The journey through Sumosan Bahrain begins at a lush, landscaped pathway leading to an awe-inspiring entrance framed by striking layered wood columns. Once inside, guests will be immersed in an inviting space where Sumosan’s signature green palette is complemented by natural materials like wood, stone, and refined metal accents. The venue is a blend of elegance and modernity with breathtaking views of the sea, for those opting for an al fresco dining experience on the terrace.
Sumosan’s Private Dining with an Art Immersion
In a unique collaboration with Bahrain-based RAK Art Foundation, Sumosan Bahrain is featuring a rotating exhibition of Bahraini artists in its private dining room.
The first piece is renowned Bahraini artist and Founder of RAK Art Foundation, Shaikh Rashid Al Khalifa’s Black with Red Fabric. Created in 2010, the piece incorporates a dark palette of colours combined with materials such as fabric and glue on canvas, which is then mounted onto a wooden board.
Every few months, new works will be displayed in the private dining room, creating an ever-evolving atmosphere of anticipation around the next inspiring piece of art. This partnership emphasizes Sumosan’s commitment to supporting local culture while offering guests a dining experience that seamlessly blends fine cuisine with contemporary art.
