Bahrain: Chain Car Accident Near Wadi Al-Seel
An accident between several cars caused huge jams on Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Highway towards Manama near Wadi Al-Seel last night.
The accident, which received a massive number of shares on social media, caused huge jams and long waiting hours.
The causes of the accident are still unknown as no official details have been revealed yet. But preliminary information indicates that causes were not following safety procedures and over-speed, especially that one of the cars flipped over.
Because of the huge jams, police were present at the scene to facilitate the flow of traffic until the traffic police arrived and removed the cars.
The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the General Directorate of Traffic stated that they initiated an investigation into the accident.
