The first Bahrain ProAm 1,000 scheduled for 29 January 2022 has been rescheduled to early 2023, the Driving Force Events and Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced.
The meeting was set to become the only global GT endurance race open exclusively to ProAm and Am driver combinations, with no Pro combinations permitted.
While there has been strong interest from teams to participate in the race, global logistical difficulties and the COVID-19 situation across many countries where teams are based do not present the optimum conditions to host an inaugural event of this nature.
Driving Force Events is the promoter of the Gulf 12 Hours.
