Bahrain: Active Cases Reach 1,631 With 72 New Cases

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected 72 new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total of active cases to 1,631. Of the 72 new cases, 67 are expat workers and 5 are contacts of active cases.

Health officials in Bahrain also confirmed 149 more recoveries from the COVID-19 coronavirus today, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 1,717  since the outbreak first began.

Currently, a total of 143,030 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 1,631, amongst which 1 patient is in critical condition.

Eight deaths have been recorded in total.
