Bahrain: Tourist Facility Booked for Serving Shisha

A tourist facility that was serving shisha to its visitors was seized for violating the precautionary measures that the kingdom is enforcing to combat coronavirus.

The director-general of the Muharraq directorate explained that, after receiving information about the incident, the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism was notified, and at the same time, it undertook research and investigation that resulted in confirming the information.

The competent teams from both ministries immediately moved and seized the mentioned facility, in the act of serving Shisha to visitors.

He indicated that the legal procedures are being taken in this regard before referring it to the competent court.
