Gatherings, mainly family gatherings, are one of the main reasons for the rise in Covid-19 cases, Assistant Chief of Public Security for Operations and Training Affairs, Brigadier Dr. Shaikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa said.
He urged to continue complying with precautionary measures, especially indoors, such as work, places of worship and shops.
He said that community awareness is the key to fight the virus. He revealed continuous monitoring by concerned directorates of the Interior Ministry of commitment to the precautionary measures to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.
