Bahrain: Status of Coronavirus Patients

Dr. Safa Al-Khawaja, Infectious Diseases Consultant and Head of Infection Control at the Ministry of Health, affirmed that Coronavirus (COVID-19) infected returnees from Iran are profiting by the medical treatment they receive while in isolation, and are displaying indications of recuperation.

Dr. Safa proceeded that all COVID-19 patients at Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Community Medical Center are getting singular consideration from a specialized medical team, in accordance with worldwide medical protocols.

Dr. Safa closed by asking residents and occupants who have visited Iran during February to self-seclude promptly and call 444 to schedule clinical assessment dates, accentuating that following established health protocols rules proposed to alleviate the spread of COVID-19 is an outright requirement.
