Bahrain: NPRA extends working hours in Isa Town and Muharraq branches

The Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) said today that from Sunday, April 4, the working hours at Isa Town and Muharraq branches will be from 8 am to 5 pm to receive the applications of the Visa and Residency Directorate.

The services of the Passports Directorate in the evening will be limited to handing over Bahraini passports at the Isa Town branch.

Those who completed the issuance of an e-residency permit can get the sticker at any branch without the need to make an appointment, but personal attendance is a must.

The NPRA called upon all government and private organisations in all sectors to benefit from the service of registering the organisations in the e-visa system www.evisa.bh as an authorised guarantor to benefit from the services provided by the directorate through the e-government portal www.Bahrain.bh. It also urged organisations that registered in the system to update their data to benefit from all provided services.

The registration through the system enables application for the visit visas round the clock without the need to apply during working hours. The NPRA has allocated a team to supervise the processing of applications provided through registered accounts.

The registration for the service will be through the NPRA website and for any inquiry, the Contract Centre could be contacted through 17399764.
