Bahrain Crown Prince and Prime Minister Inaugurates Marassi Galleria
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today inaugurated the Marassi Galleria at Marassi Al Bahrain.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister highlighted the wide-ranging achievements witnessed by the Kingdom since the launch of the Bahrain Economic Vision 2030, adding that the all-encompassing Vision has provided inspiration to continue building on these achievements in line with the Kingdom’s comprehensive development goals, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad went on to highlight the depth of relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), which continues to receive the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. HRH the Crown Prince added that longstanding ties have resulted in a wide array of multi-sectoral partnerships across the public and private sectors.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad stressed that the Economic Recovery Plan’s major development projects span across different sectors, providing quality opportunities for Bahraini citizens, increasing the country’s competitiveness and supporting economic diversification efforts. In this regard, His Royal Highness underscored the pivotal role played by the Kingdom’s private sector as a major driver of growth for the economy. His Royal Highness noted the importance of continuing to attract investments that will benefit Bahrain and its citizens.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister toured the mall, set against the stunning backdrop of Bahrain’s coastline, viewing its modern and recreational facilities and noting the efforts of all parties who have jointly contributed to the project.
HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the importance of further expanding the economy to keep pace with development and sustainability requirements by launching economic strategies and policies that attract investments, enhancing entrepreneurship and innovation, and increasing productivity. In this regard, His Royal Highness expressed the Kingdom’s commitment to invest in infrastructure, educational development, and trade and economic cooperation at the regional and international levels to benefit the country and its citizens. Moreover, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister underscored the government’s commitment to further the Kingdom’s economic growth and expand the total size of the economy to benefit Bahrain and its citizens.

Marassi Galleria, a key anchor within the Marassi Al Bahrain masterplan, is one of the major development projects that are a key component of the Kingdom’s Economic Recovery Plan.
Marassi Galleria is the first shopping resort in the Kingdom, located within the Marassi Al Bahrain project, on an area of 114,000 square metres. The mall offers visitors an integrated experience of shopping, dining and entertainment and sets a new standard for the retail sector at a local and regional level. The mall contains 450 retail shops, including a group of luxury international brands, and provides 10,000 employment opportunities for Bahraini nationals in both the mall and with other companies in the broader project.
Marassi Galleria also has an entertainment area that includes the largest aquarium in the Kingdom, an underwater zoo, an adventure park, and a cinema complex. The commercial complex is connected to two five-star resorts, the Address Marassi Al Bahrain and Vida Marassi Al Bahrain.
His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, and several senior officials also attended the opening.
