Bahrain: Private Sector Salaries for Bahrainis Credited Today
Chief Executive Officer of the Social Insurance Organisation (SIO), Eman Mustafa Al-Murbati, said that the salaries support amounts were today credited to the accounts of business owners.
The move is in line with the government’s directives to pay the salaries of Bahraini private sector workers for the months of April, May and June, from the Insurance against Unemployment Fund, as part of the financial and economic package to provide the necessary liquidity for the private sector.
She said that the amounts of the month of April had been credited to accounts of the business owners, who will then pay their national workforce according to schedule.
She added that the remaining 13% of business owners wishing to benefit from the government’s stimulus package will have the opportunity to register electronically between April 18 and 20.
