Bahrain: Man to stand trial for causing disability
A man in his forties is standing trial for causing 3% permanent disability to a fellow Bahraini, a teenager, following a quarrel involving two kids.
The defendant and several others broke the victim’s nose, causing him what was calculated as a 3% disability. The victim was taken to a police station, where an ambulance transported him to a local hospital, and he had a successful operation.
