Out of 23598 COVID-19 tests carried out on 3 January 2022, 880 new cases have been detected among 309 expatriate workers, 447 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 124 are travel related. There were 219 recoveries from COVID19, increasing total recoveries to 277899.
There are currently 4930 active COVID19 cases, and all are stable. Presently no individuals are in critical condition.
