Bahrain records highest daily cases with 1,316 new infections

Out of 17,147 COVID-19 tests carried out on 3 April 2021, 1316 new cases have been detected among 321 expatriate workers, 931 new cases are contacts of active cases, and 64 are travel related. There were 728 recoveries, increasing total recoveries to 137,555.

There are currently 68 COVID-19 cases in a critical condition, and 157 cases receiving treatment. 9,616 are stable out of a total of 9,684 active cases.

The ministry also announced four Covid-19 related deaths, raising the total deaths to 531.
