COVID-19: Oman vaccinates 12% of total population

At least 435,090 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Oman.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Health said that 435,090 people were given Covid-19 vaccines in the Sultanate since the beginning of the national campaign for immunisation against Covid-19 until yesterday, which is 12 per cent of the population.

Of the people vaccinated, 61 per cent, which is 264,335, received only the first dose. On the other hand, people who received both required doses reached 39 per cent (170,755).
