Coronavirus: Bahrain Reports 45 New Cases

The Ministry of Health confirmed that it detected 45 new coronavirus cases today, bringing the total number of active cases to 1,162.

Of the 45 new cases, 20 are expatriate workers, 20 are of contact with existing cases and 5 have been repatriated via the International COVID-19 Repatriation Programme (ICRP) programme.

Health officials in Bahrain also confirmed 10 new recoveries from the COVID-19 coronavirus, bringing the total number of recoveries so far to 783 since the outbreak first began.

Currently, a total of 93,858 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 1162, amongst which 2 patients are in critical condition. To date, 783 patients have been discharged and 7 deaths have been confirmed.
