Oman: Nurses get training on vaccination programme
Oman conducted a training session on the ExpandableImmunisation Programme (EIP).
The training programme targeted nurses from the various EIP focal points in the Directorate’s health institutions. The attendees were updated on COVID–19 vaccine and were also trained on the mechanism of using the vaccine.
Earlier the Ministry of Health had announced that the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine will be arriving in Oman today, December 24. The vaccination process will start from December 27, Sunday with Oman’s Minister of Health Dr Ahmed Al Saeedi, receiving the first shot of the vaccine.
