Bahrain: Residents Start Receiving Messages for Random Testing

The Ministry of Health is continuously selecting citizens and residents to test for the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Several individuals reported that they have received text messages from the Ministry of Health notifying them of a test schedule. The test will take place at the drive-through testing facility at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre.

The Ministry stated that the tests  do not exceed 5 minutes and selected individuals are required to bring a valid ID for identification purposes.

Individuals may be accompanied by family members, who will also have the option to get tested, provided that the individuals and their accompanying parties all arrive together in the same vehicle.
