Bahrain: Over 200 expat workers among 216 cases today

The Ministry of Health in Bahrain registered 216 new active cases of which 201 are expatriate workers and 15 are contacts of active cases. 

The Ministry of Health also recorded 82 recoveries from COVID-19 today, increasing total recoveries in Bahrain to 2,152. 

To ensure the safety of all, the Ministry of Health continues to increase its testing capacity, carrying out 6,268 COVID-19 tests within the past 24 hours.

Currently, a total of 189,174 have been tested and 2,997 active cases have been confirmed, amongst which 4 patients are in critical condition.

Eight deaths have been recorded in total.
