Neymar Nears $100 Million Move From PSG to Al Hilal in Saudi Pro League

PSG and Brazil star, Neymar is on the verge of a sensational move to Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League according to media reports.

As per an ESPN report, the former Barcelona attacker is “close to agreeing personal terms with Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal”.

Even amid a summer of high-profile football stars heading to the Saudi Pro League, the capture of Neymar would be the jewel in the crown, if Al Hilal were able to pull off the transfer coup.

Neymar became the most expensive football player in history when he joined French giants PSG from Barcelona for €222m in 2017. Despite having four years left to run on a lucrative contract, the talismanic PSG striker has been given permission to find a new club.

A reported move to Barcelona seems to have stalled and Al Hilal are ready to pounce and bring in the biggest star to join the Saudi Pro League since Ronaldo’s game-changing move in January of this year.

A lucrative contract package worth more than $190m is close to being agreed according to widespread reports. Should Neymar and PSG accept the offers it would make the player one of the richest sports stars in the world and give the Qatar-owned French side a sizable kitty to reinvest in a squad in need of new attacking talent.
