Total coronavirus cases in Bahrain reach 7,532

The Ministry of Health has registered a total of 348 new active cases yesterday, of which 233 are among expatriate workers and 114 are contacts of active cases and 1 is travel-related. This brings the total cases reported in Bahrain to 7,532.

Health officials in Bahrain also confirmed 2,964 recoveries from the COVID-19 coronavirus since the outbreak first began. The recovered cases have been discharged from dedicated treatment centres.

Currently, a total of 249,411 people have been tested and the total number of confirmed active cases is 4,556, amongst which 9 patients are in critical condition. To date, 2,964 patients have been discharged and 12 deaths have been confirmed.
