Travel: Gulf Air Cancels Flight Service To Sudanese Capital

Bahrain’s Gulf Air has announced that it has canceled its flight to the Sudanese capital Khartoum following the military coup and the declaration of the state of emergency in the North African country leading to the closure of its airspace.

The flight GF 703 to Khartoum International Airport at 1 am (local time) from Bahrain International Airport has been canceled due to current developments in the country, said a statement from Gulf Air.

The national carrier stressed that they continue to monitor the situation keenly as the safety of their passengers and crew remains a top priority for the airline.
