UAE among world’s top five tea exporting countries

The United Arab Emirates is a global hub in the tea export market, with total exports of about $33 million (Dh1.2 billion) in 2020, according to a report by Federal Competitiveness and Statistics Center (FCSC).

The figures place the UAE among the top five tea exporting countries in the world after China, Sri Lanka, Kenya, and India, by exporting tea to 154 countries in 2021
