Bahrain: Beyon Connect to Launch ’OneSign’ Qualified Digital Signing Services with BENEFIT

BENEFIT and Beyon Connect will launch the unique Qualified Electronic Signature (QES) services in Bahrain, using the cutting edge and highly secure ‘OneSign’ solution embedded within Beyon’s ‘OneID’ platform.

The soft launch took place at the Arab International Cybersecurity Conference, held at Exhibition World Bahrain. It was a fitting location for the announcement, in the presence of the Telecommunication Regulatory Authority, given their role in supporting the Kingdom’s digital economy, the development of digital transformation and innovation across all sectors and the growth of new sectors and services.

By combining the trusted solutions and capabilities of both organizations, the way individuals and businesses of Bahrain will sign documents will be transformed, not only ensuring compliance but also providing a seamless digital user experience through the use of cutting-edge OneID, OneSign and OneBox technologies.

OneID, containing the OneSign QES capabilities, is available as a mobile application for both iOS and Android, enabling individuals to register a unique and highly secure digital identity and to interact securely with digital services.

OneBox will enable secure communication, transmission, and storage of the signed documents in one safe, convenient, and trusted digital space. Customers will have access to the new digital services around the clock reducing the need to visit physical locations in person.

BENEFIT will extend their Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to integrate into the innovative OneID digital identity, OneSign and OneBox digital postbox solutions and services delivered by Beyon Connect to reduce the need for the manual signing of documents, applications, and official paperwork. The PKI enables a user to electronically sign a document and prove it from a legitimate source.

The focus on ‘digital-first’ solutions is to deliver trusted technology that simplifies the electronic signing and payment processes, increasing efficiencies through automation and lowering operating costs.
