UAE announces two new astronauts, world’s first Arab female astronaut

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced on Twitter two new Emirati astronauts, one of which is the world’s first Arab female astronaut.

Mohammed Al Mulla and Nora Al Matrooshi were chosen from over 4,000 applicants and will begin their training soon with the NASA astronaut programme.
