UAE: 248,000 jobs created in 2020
Nearly 248,000 jobs were created in Dubai last year despite the global economic slowdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, disclosed on Saturday.
He said that 100,000 jobs were created in the retail sector and e-commerce and 148,000 jobs in the financial, technology and telecommunications sector.
