Bahrain: MOH urges strict adherence to Covid safety measures

Bahrain’s Ministry of Health revealed that more than 15,000 new COVID-19 cases have been detected from April 20 to May 3, pointing out that the main reason behind the surge in infections is laxity and non-compliance with preventative measures like social distancing and avoiding direct contact.

It has been added that gatherings at home are the main reasons behind the new infections. Contact in public places and travel come next.

It was pointed out that the rise in infections causes great pressure on the medical crews and those working in the front lines. Therefore, everyone is urged to comply to the safety measures and turn out for vaccination to curb the spread of the virus and protect the safety of all.
