UAE: Coronavirus Cases Rise to Over 500
The UAE has reported 102 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 570.
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) said the new infections came from people who did not adhere to social distancing rules, as well as from those who contracted the virus overseas.
MOHAP said the new cases were all in stable condition and were receiving the necessary treatment. The ministry also reported one new fatality – a 47-year-old Arab woman who had prior chronic illnesses.
