UAE has implemented compulsory Covid-19 PCR tests every week or two for private and public sector employees.
Employees in five sectors across will require to take a Covid-19 PCR test every 14 days: hotels, restaurants, transportation, health and social and personal activities such as laundries, beauty salons, and hairdressers.
All private sector employees in vital sectors and service industries in Abu Dhabi will also require to undergo compulsory PCR Covid-19 tests every two weeks, for free.
Those who are vaccinated against Covid-19 are exempted.
