UAE economy achieves 3.8% GDP growth in 2021

Despite ‘a turbulent changing world’, the UAE’s economy recorded strong upward growth in 2021.

The country has achieved 3.8 per cent growth, which was higher than in 2019 and the highest in the region. The Emirates performed better than the World Bank’s indication of 2.1 per cent.

In a latest report, the Central Bank of the UAE said national economy will grow at 4.2 per cent this year despite inflationary pressure. It estimates that real GDP grew by 2.3 per cent last year compared to an earlier forecast of 2.1 per cent.
