UAE: Expo 2020 closing ceremony held
Curtains came down on Expo 2020 Dubai, the first such gala event for the Middle East region, yesterday night (March 31) after offering a spectacular six months of exciting ‘out of the world’ experiences, best of innovation, thrills, fun, memorable family moments and entertainment’.
The closing ceremony was held at the splendid Al Wasl Square, the beating heart of the six-month global event. The ceremony saw the baton for World Expo being handed over to Osaka, Japan, which will host the next Expo in 2025.
