UAE: First Batch of Indian Repatriates Land in Kerala

The first two flights with Indians repatriated from the UAE have landed in Kerala.

Two Air India Express planes, carrying a total of 363 Indians from Dubai and Abu Dhabi reached two destinations in Kerala, Kochi and Kozhikode late Thursday night.

There are no suspected COVID-19 cases among the first batch of passengers being repatriated. So said Consul General of India in Dubai Vipul, who was at the airport to oversee the repatriation services, adding that 155 people checked-in by 3.30 pm.

Every passenger goes through a rapid COVID-19 screening before being allowed to check-in.
