Saudi Arabia allows women aged 17 to obtain driving permits

The Traffic Department announced that it is now possible for young women who have reached the age of 17 years, to obtain a temporary driving permit.

The conditions for a young woman to obtain a temporary driving permit include reaching the age of 17 years, six photographs, and a medical checkup.

Applications should be submitted at the driving school. The driving permit will be valid for one year.
